Computers

The Computer Technology Department at the Blue Hills Regional Technical School prepares the students for entry into the world of work or college. Almost all businesses are using computers to manage their general functions more efficiently. Therefore, to address the demands of industry and college, four general areas of computer technology instruction are provided over four years. Computer hardware maintenance and repair, software applications, network hardware and software, and computer programming. The students utilize state-of-the-art equipment including IBM AS400, personal computers and online training. Upon graduation students will be eligible for A+ and Cisco CCNA certifications. Blue Hills is a Cisco Networking Academy and offers a full four-year curriculum in Cisco to prepare the student for certification.
