During the four years a student spends in this state of Massachusetts licensed program, they will be introduced to many phases of the industry. Students will learn how to safely use hand and power tools, electrical testing and troubleshooting equipment, and the specialized installation, service and troubleshooting equipment for this trade. Students will be expected to acquire not only trade skills to entry level industry standards, but they also will be required to develop personal and work attitudes to a level where they will become contributory members of their communities. Students will be presented state code and safety standards and will be allowed to take both federal refrigerant management exams.
